Fiesta Sausage Breakfast Casserole

1/2 pound sausage
12 slices bread, cubed
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup Pace Picante sauce

In a large skillet over medium-high heat cook sausage until well browned; drain off the fat.
Dump the sausage into a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
As evenly as possible layer the bread over the sausage. Sprinkle cheese on top of bread.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the milk, eggs and picante sauce. Pour over the bread mixture, making sure bread slices are coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees, remove plastic wrap and bake for 45 minutes.
