French Dressed Cranberry Chicken Casserole Recipe

6 chicken breast halves
1 bottle (16 oz) French salad dressing
1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce, whole berry style
1 pack (2 oz) French onion soup mix
cooked rice for serving, optional

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a glass 9x13 baking dish.

Lay the chicken breast halves in the baking dish.

In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients.

Spoon the mixture over the chicken, then lift the chicken slightly so some of the mixture flows underneath.

Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until chicken is no longer pink inside and is tender.

You may serve this dish over rice or as is.

Will serve 6.
