Southern Pecan Plantation Pie

3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/4 cup pecans
1 Unbaked 9 inch pie crust

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, vanilla, sugar and salt together.
Add the butter and corn syrup, stir until combined.
Add the pecans and stir.
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the filling has set and starting to get browned a bit around the edges.
Remove from oven and let cool at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
