Chinese Five Spice Rub Recipe

2 tsp ground fennel
2 tsp ground star anise
2 tsp ground Szechuan pepper
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves

Stir together all the ingredients and store in an air-tight jar or zip-lock food bag. Keep cool and dry.

This recipe is easily doubled or tripled and will last for several months if stored properly.
