Slow Cooker Southwestern Cornmeal Chili Beef Tamale

1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
15 oz corn
15 oz tomatoes, diced
1 envelope of chili seasoning mix
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Over medium-high heat, ground the beef and then drain off the fat. Add all the ingredients to the crockpot except the cheese. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour then turn down to LOW and continue cooking for 3 more hours. Add the cheese and cook for 5 minutes just to melt the cheese.
